Photovoltaic panels

At ROMAR, our commitment to sustainability and innovation materializes from the planning stage of our projects. Under this premise, at Brook Motors, one of our dealerships, we took an important step by incorporating a set of photovoltaic panels to generate clean energy at the new headquarters located at Avenida Adolfo de la Vega 388, in the province of Tucumán.
Solar energy integrated into daily operations
The installed system is on-grid, which allows generating solar energy for self-consumption without losing the connection with the conventional electrical grid. The generation is monitored in real-time, facilitating a more efficient and transparent management of electrical consumption.
The installed system allows us to cover between 28% and 30% of the total daily electrical consumption of the dealership, which in environmental terms represents a reduction of approximately 1.4 tons of CO₂ emissions per month associated with electrical consumption.

If this level of generation is maintained, the installation could avoid nearly 17 tons of CO₂ per year, significantly contributing to the reduction of the dealership's environmental footprint.
A strategic decision with a long-term view
The decision to incorporate solar panels mainly responded to a coherence with the environmental policy of the ROMAR group. The initiative was proposed from the beginning knowing that it is a long-term investment, and that the most important thing for us was to take a concrete step towards the energy transition and seek alignment with the environmental policy and values of the group.
Brook Motors is the first dealership of the ROMAR group to incorporate photovoltaic solar energy. This experience marks a relevant precedent and is projected as a reference for future constructions or new installations by the ROMAR companies, where the integration of renewable energies appears as a desirable option from the design phase.

In this way, we continue to advance in the incorporation of solutions that combine operational efficiency, reduction of environmental impact, and a vision of sustainable development, understanding that the energy transition is a progressive process built with concrete actions.
The culture that unites us.

We are very happy that our first ROMAR Sustainability Report is coming to light. We celebrate the comprehensive strategy and the sustainability activities that are implemented in each company.
